Hyster

Hyster forklifts have numerous optional and standard feature in order to make every equipment safer for the driver as well as other employees within the work site area. Some of the available features are audible devices, safety lights, operator restraint systems, and ergonomic operator compartments.

To be able to help warn other people of an approaching or nearby lift truck, visual safety devices such as strobe lights could help. There is a low-mounted strobe light that has a shield to help prevent the light shining into the operator's eyes.

Reverse operation alarms are examples of audible warning devices that automatically sound when the forklift is backing up. This will help to alert other pedestrians and workers of the presence forklift. A rear drive handle with horn allows the driver's hand to be secure when reversing. This inboard handle protects the driver's hand in case of impact and the handle has a horn which allows the driver to sound the horn without moving their hand to the main steering wheel.

In case of a truck flip over, operator restraint systems help to keep the lift truck operator's torso and head in the cab of the forklift to help avoid serious injury. Anti-Cinch Seat Belt and Hip Restraints are standard features on all kinds of Yale/Hyster lift trucks. For older Yale/Hyster forklifts, safety restraint systems can be installed on most models.

The Hyster StanDrive E30-40HSD2 series of forklifts offers superb ergonomics. Available in 4,000 or 3,000 pound capacities, these kinds of forklifts are very versatile and strong, as well as ergonomically designed to improve productivity and enhance operator comfort. In order to increase driver visibility and comfort, the controls allow the driver to stand in side-stance or at 45 degrees.
